I Dance for Miss Scott



Two years ago, I wanted to dance
I asked my parents to give me a chance.
They looked for a teacher, and this is who they found
A nice young lady, taught by Mrs. Brown.

I dance for Miss Scott, I like her a lot
She's trying to make a dancer out of me.
She taught me how to move, and she taught me how to smile.
She's building up my confidence in me.

She has a sister who was Miss Scott too.
Then she got married oh what did she do.
Now she's Mrs. Gregor, cause she's married to Chris.
The name Other Scott, We're all going to miss

Every since I learned to dance,
I've been many places, even France.
And maybe some day, it they get the chance
Gene and Miss Scott will increase their romance.

The name of our group is Toe Jam Time
We do many dances but none of them are mine
I try to make them up, but they need to be refined.
If I ever get one right, I will give you a sign
